But I have the impression that the little we know enables us to eliminate the notion of sexual predation, because it was the maid who barged into DSK's room, where he happened to be naked. It wasn't as if DSK went out hunting for a female to rape. Normally, the maid's entry can be designated as an intrusion. So, why did she intrude into DSK's private environment? Was she surprised to find DSK in his room, naked? Was DSK surprised to find a young woman in his room? Is it possible, by chance, that DSK was already in a "self-induced state of sexual arousal" when this encounter took place? What sort of verbal and non-verbal communications occurred between the maid and DSK in the instants that followed this encounter? I'm sure that the world will soon be made familiar with all the detailed answers to questions such as these. And, if DSK's lawyers are smart, they should be able to find or invent all sorts of convincing explanations and attenuating circumstances for DSK's alleged reactions. Even if the young woman were able to produce plausible reasons for intruding into DSK's room, I predict that she and her personal honor will be sacrificed on the traditional altar of male sexuality, power and influence… not to mention money.William Skyvingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10052367756561555096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8627322010786735293.post-62975003336491600712011-05-15T19:56:12.793+02:002011-05-15T19:56:12.793+02:00Strange story. Difficult to understand what crossed his mind, I suppose he knew that this kind of affair will put an end to his political career... unless he has a pathological sexuality, unable to refrain himself.

Or maybe, like Jean-François Kahn mentioned, it is an "acte manqué" - he didn't want to become THE candidate.cmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13628012646010636255noreply@blogger.com
